Getting started

Open Settings → Cameras → Add camera, pick your brand (Dahua, Hikvision, Reolink, Amcrest, Uniview) and fill in the IP address, channel, username and password. Eagle builds the RTSP URL for you. For any other camera, choose Custom RTSP URL and paste the full address.

Common questions

A camera stays black or says it is unreachable

Check the username and password first — a wrong password looks the same as an offline camera on most systems. Eagle distinguishes the two: "Check username or password" means the camera answered but refused the login. Also make sure the Apple TV is on the same network as the camera.

Which stream should I use?

The camera wall uses the substream (lower resolution, many tiles at once); fullscreen uses the main stream. That keeps the wall smooth on an Apple TV.

Can I hear audio?

Yes, in fullscreen. The wall itself is always silent, so it can stay on all day. Use the mute button in fullscreen to switch audio off.

How many cameras can I show?

The wall shows up to sixteen tiles at once. You can add more cameras; the wall then shows the first sixteen in your chosen order.

Does it sync between Apple TVs?

Yes, via iCloud. Switch it on under Settings → iCloud on each Apple TV, signed in with the same Apple Account.

I bought the unlock but a new Apple TV asks for payment

Use Restore purchases under Settings. The unlock is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple Account, not to a device.

Aan de slag

Ga naar Instellingen → Camera's → Camera toevoegen, kies je merk (Dahua, Hikvision, Reolink, Amcrest, Uniview) en vul IP-adres, kanaal, gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord in. Eagle bouwt de RTSP-URL voor je. Voor elke andere camera kies je Eigen RTSP-URL en plak je het volledige adres.

Veelgestelde vragen

Een camera blijft zwart of is onbereikbaar

Controleer eerst gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord — een verkeerd wachtwoord ziet er op de meeste systemen hetzelfde uit als een offline camera. Eagle maakt onderscheid: "Controleer gebruikersnaam of wachtwoord" betekent dat de camera antwoordde maar de login weigerde. Zorg ook dat de Apple TV in hetzelfde netwerk zit als de camera.

Welke stream wordt gebruikt?

De camerawand gebruikt de substream (lagere resolutie, veel tegels tegelijk); fullscreen gebruikt de hoofdstream. Zo blijft de wand soepel op een Apple TV.

Kan ik geluid horen?

Ja, in fullscreen. De wand zelf is altijd stil, zodat hij de hele dag aan kan staan. Met de mute-knop in fullscreen zet je het geluid uit.

Hoeveel camera's kan ik tonen?

De wand toont maximaal zestien tegels tegelijk. Je kunt meer camera's toevoegen; de wand toont dan de eerste zestien in jouw volgorde.

Synchroniseert het tussen Apple TV's?

Ja, via iCloud. Zet het aan onder Instellingen → iCloud op elke Apple TV, ingelogd met hetzelfde Apple Account.

Ik heb de ontgrendeling gekocht maar een nieuwe Apple TV vraagt om betaling

Gebruik Aankopen herstellen onder Instellingen. De ontgrendeling is een eenmalige aankoop die aan je Apple Account hangt, niet aan een apparaat.
